LIFESTYLE: Luxury Gift Guide For Men with Etched Bottles

It’s that dreaded time of year…Mr CP’s  birthday. I say dreaded because what do you buy the man who has everything and wants for nothing? It’s always tricky deciding what to get him. He’s a fussy customer is my husband and very picky about what he likes.  Buying clothes is a no no as he dosnt like anything I like. He dosnt like anything with a blaring logo or name branded on it, prefers more understated designer pieces and rarely shops from the High Street. So I steer well clear as he will inevitably need to return or exchange something.

In the week he is a dapper city gent but at the weekend he’s more casual and he does love his sneakers.

So number 1. On my gift guide is a good pair of trainers. You can’t go wrong. My husband does like an unusual pair and despite his demure sense of dress, he dosn’t mind a loud trainer (most notably I’m thinking of his gold superstars; have you seen them?) I’ve had my eye on a pair of Balenciaga Runners for a while but whilst I can’t decide on a colour,  I thought I would get these black and white ones for him. They are quite plain and simple but not your everyday trainer so they can look good with casual or smarter combos.  I purchased them from which I highly recommend. I used the same day delivery service which is fantastic if you live in London. They arrived a couple of hours later. Online shopping dosn’t get much better than same day delivery! Also the box they came in was absolutely beautiful. Too good not to take a photo of. Too pretty to dispose of.

Number 2. on my list is a card holder. My husband uses card holders and money clips instead of a wallet. His current one from Aspinal of London which I had hot stamped with his initials was a lovely gift I got him a few years back but it has started to wear and the engraving has rubbed off. Whilst we were in Harrods recently he spotted this Louis Vuitton classic monogram one. Simple but chic.

3. Another Harrods purchase were these Gucci sliders. He would have prefered black but they are sold out everywhere in this style so he will have to settle for the white ones. Not bad at £110. They are only made of rubber after all and everyone needs a pair of sliders in their life.

4. A good aftershave.

If all else fails, you can’t go wrong with a decent aftershave. I’ve picked out some of my faves for hubby here.

Chanel – Platinum

Bvlgari – Man Extreme

Creed – Aventus

Tom Ford – Santal Blush

I love buying the Tom Ford for him as most are unisex so I always use them too but shhhh don’t tell.

5. The wildcard. I always think it’s nice to give something personalised especially from the girls.  When the opportunity arose for me to try out Etched Drinks I thought it would make a perfect pressie for hubby. Men can be difficult to buy for so this is a nice little option if you’re looking for an extra present.

The order process was super easy! There was a great selection of drinks to choose from. Then you simply choose or upload your own label and personalise it how you like. Checkout and the order is complete. For further details head to and find them on Instagram @etcheddrinks and Twitter @etcheddrinks
